DragonWave Ltd. focuses on telecommunications, with an emphasis on wireless solutions. We’re exclusive reseller of DragonWave-X point to point licensed-band (6-38 GHz) terrestrial microwave radio products (Harmony Enhanced, Harmony Enhanced MultiCarrier) and services for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Complementing our licensed-band wireless transport lineup, we offer iO unlicensed-band (5 GHz) point to point and point to multipoint microwave radio solutions. On top of that, we sell Io Enterprise Wi-Fi products, adding ample access network capabilities to our hitherto transport network centric business.
Soon, we will diversify and expand our product portfolio even further by adding a high-capacity E-band (millimetre wave) product to our point-to-point solution portfolio and by moving from the transport domain into the adjacent 4G (LTE) and 5G radio access and core network domains of telecommunications, so keep watching this space.

Established in May 2020 and boasting a highly motivated workforce, we act like a start-up: eager, flexible & pragmatic. At the same time, we are multinational and multicultural, have a presence in five countries, conduct business on four continents, nurture decade-deep customer relationships, have hundreds of thousands of live network elements to cater to, and employ seasoned professionals that have earned their spurs working for large blue-chip companies.

Bernard Prkic

Bernard has a track record spanning more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry. He has plied his trade working for large blue-chip tech corporations like Siemens and Nokia, and for smaller multinational tech enterprises like Nedap and DragonWave. His competences span the leading of multinational and distributed teams of professionals, setting up and running company operations, product lifecycle management, portfolio strategy development & strategy implementation, investment business (case) modelling and analysis, international business development & sales and international business-to-business marketing.
Waqas Akbar
Director Customer Support & Services
Waqas Akbar is a computer engineer with over 17 years of experience in the design and management of the latest telecommunications technologies, with practical expertise in 5G network planning, operations, and management. He is thoroughly proficient in all aspects of designing, installing, and maintaining cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, high-speed wireless networks, IoT, digitization, and automation. Waqas has provided his expertise to various clients across the MENA region, including Saudi Telecom, Dubai Petroleum, Dolphin Energy Qatar, MOI Bahrain, and MOE Jordan. He is known for his in-depth technical knowledge and a proven track record of delivering excellent work within time and budgetary constraints. A detail-oriented troubleshooter, Waqas takes pride in developing optimal and effective solutions that account for all aspects and ramifications. Friendly and professional, he builds strong rapport with both team members and clients alike.
Marwa Hussein
Sales Director MENA
Marwa Hussein, GM Dubai Office and Sales Director of Middle East and Africa. Marwa brings more than 20 years of experience in defining and executing sales & marketing strategies that lead to profitable, sustainable business and the best return on investment for our customers. Her focus areas are (wireless) telecommunication, information technology and (packet) networking solutions. Marwa previously held Sales and Marketing positions in large multinational companies like Siemens and Nokia.

Andrey is an experienced sales leader with an engineering acumen and a strong track record in the telecommunications industry. He has earned his spurs in sales management, business development, go-to-market strategy, both with large enterprises and with startups. Andrey is widely regarded amongst peers as an expert in his field. He comfortably handles technical challenges and understands the complexities of introducing new technology to demanding customers. He holds high ethical standards and demonstrates a work rate that ensures momentum.
Eduardo Aguilar
Sales Director Latin America
Eduardo Aguilar, Sales Director for LATAM, has a track record of more than 30 years in the telecommunications industry. He has plied his trade working for large blue chip tech corporations like NEC Japan, and smaller multinational tech companies like Gtech Corp., Ceragon, EMC and DragonWave_X. His skills include leadership of multinational and distributed teams of professionals serving multiple multinational companies and agencies, project start-up management, product feature definition, sales of multi-million dollar sales in an international business setting. Amongst his other strengths are on his ability to provide commercial technical support, both in pre-sale, sales engineering and post-sales.
